For over twenty years, George and the team have hand pressed the tailoring of Savile Row's bespoke houses. It's work we've done largely out of the spotlight, giving the final shape to a suit before it reaches the client. Almost all of the Row relies on us for this. There's a good chance a suit you already own has crossed our boards.
That work has given us something not easily acquired elsewhere: an intimate, practical understanding of how bespoke tailoring is built, what it's made from, and what it needs to be kept at its best over its lifetime.
We later opened that same expertise to private clients directly, and expanded our offer to cover shoes, shirts, and knitwear alongside tailoring. Whether a garment comes to us from a Savile Row workshop or from a client's wardrobe, it receives the same hand-pressing process, the same eye for the three-dimensional shape a good tailor built into it, and the same honesty if something falls outside what we can do.
Our home
We're based at 24 Brook's Mews, Mayfair, just behind Claridge's. It's a short walk for our trade clients and well connected for clients travelling by tube, and has easy parking for those sending cars or couriers.
Beyond pressing
Bespoke tailoring is a closely-knit community. Our trade services are well-known in the trade as is the support we provide for those coming into the industry. In a number of ways we try to support the bespoke tailoring world, on which we rely so heavily, to survive and thrive, and hope that you too will feel some measure of pride in being part of that continuity of craft.
